In light of the current situation with COVID-19, in accordance with the latest advice from GOV and NHS, we wanted to share with you the steps we are taking as Urban Jungle. It is evident we are in a place and time where response is changing daily. As a result our planning for our business; the welfare of our staff and for the welfare of our customers will adapt with any new relevant guidance.
Since the situation began we have been coordinating with our suppliers and developing business continuity plans to minimise disruption to you, the customer, and our partners.
We will now operate on a no contact basis to ensure the welfare of you and our staff. As a result we will increase our virtual contact through our business WhatsApp on 0161 224 4500 and Live Chat function on our Auto Trader and Website.
To minimise risk to our customers we can now do video live calls or personalised videos of the vehicle in question within operation hours. This can be done through 0161 224 4500 a WhatsApp special line.
To ensure the safety of our customers and staff test drives will be the last protocol. So strictly upon the customer deciding the vehicle, its condition, and price are right for them. Test drives whether our stock or the customers part exchange will now be carried out in the following manner:
- Stock Vehicle: Our staff will sit at the furthest point to driver, so in most cases behind and diagonal.
- Part Exchange: We will kindly request the customer will sit in the rear diagonal to our staff.
- We will only allow one customer within the vehicle for the purpose of the test drive.
We will now fumigate all vehicles with Safe4 Disinfectant. This is a DEFRA approved disinfectant which is non toxic and biodegradable. Although we are operating on a no contact basis we will still take sanitisation matters of our staff with utmost importance. Please do not feel offended with the use of hand sanitisation, this is for the welfare of you and our staff.
